Opening Ceremony for Syntronic’s New Office in Chengdu

To celebrate the opening of Syntronic’s new office in Chengdu, an opening ceremony was held on September 13th. Björn Jansson, CEO of Syntronic Group, Zhao Zhensheng, General Manager of Syntronic China and Syntronic’s partners were there to witness and to take part of the ribbon cutting.

Björn Jansson, CEO of Syntronic Group, opened the ceremony and he expressed his gratitude to all attendees and his delight of being able to share the memorable event with all the guests.

“Syntronic can not continue this rapid growth without our partners' long time trust and support. We will continue to integrate resources and to further enhance our response rate to customer requirements, which will provide even more efficient services to local partners. This is the mission for Syntronic China in particular and Syntronic Group in general.” says Björn Jansson.

Syntronic signs two year production contract with Abilia

Syntronic has been selected as the production partner to the medtech company Abilia. Syntronic will take the full responsibility of Abilia’s own developed product MEMOdayplanner.

The MEMOdayplanner is a planning board that shows time in a concrete way and how long it is until the next activity/duty. This is a cognition aid for people with special needs which help them in their everyday life. In this turnkey project Syntronic will handle the sourcing, manufacturing, logistic and the aftermarket services.

Syntronic China Signs Cooperation Frame Agreement with World Leading Electrical and Electronic Solution Provider

Syntronic China signs a cooperation frame agreement with a world leading company, which is specialized in the area of electrification, automation and digitalization.

Syntronic will provide both in-house R&D and onsite consultancy services to our customer in the area of electrical and electronic solutions. Specifically, Syntronic China will take full responsibility of designing a control system that will be utilized in one of our customer's core product. The customer has also requested Syntronic to support product certification and high volume manufacturing. The project is carried out as an in-house model and will be implemented by a Syntronic China team encompassing system, digital and hardware engineers. In addition, a professional onsite team, composed of senior hardware designers and PCBA layout engineers, is requested to support our customer's internal confidential projects.

The signing of the cooperation agreement has laid the foundation for an enhanced cooperation between the customer and Syntronic, and has opened up new possibilities for Syntronic to penetrate in industrial electronics and medtech industries.

On June 23, 2016, Syntronic Research and Development Canada Inc., along with several other companies, organized an event that focused on how to attract and retain tech talent in the Ottawa region. The well attended event was named Human Capital: The Currency of Talent and was held at The Marshes in Kanata.

There were several expert panellists at the event discussing a variety of subjects. Syntronic had their President, Hans Molin (third from right), along with a customer, a Global Product Development Leader in Telecommunication, discuss their experience in outsourcing a project and how partnering with Syntronic has been beneficial for the customer’s development team.

Syntronic China Selected as the Offshore Design Center for a Digital Hardware Maintenance Project

Syntronic China has been awarded a digital hardware maintenance project by a top telecom solutions provider. The first phase project timeline is from May 2016 to end of the year. We are also expected to support our partner for subsequent phases. A professional team comprised of Project Management, System-, Digital-, Simulation-, RF design, Mechanical & Thermal, Power and Integration & Verification in China will undertake full responsibility.

This is another great achievement followed by the Radio Hardware Maintenance project signed last year which is an ongoing project for Syntronic China. Syntronic’s knowledge and experience within telecom has given our partner the confidence to continue the cooperation with us in offshore model.

The Syntronic team in Ottawa is growing the software business and we are excited to welcome Brian Kay as our latest addition as Software Manager. Brian is a meticulous technology professional and R&D leader who has delivered numerous products to the market in telecommunications, both wire-line and wireless, and the military product sector. He has extensive experience in product requirements, architecture, new product launches covering the complete software and product life cycle.  Brian holds a license as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), has a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA), and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
